Throughout the year we offer six 90-minute workshops that address key topics that parents face in raising their children. Recent topics include technology and the family and stress, anxiety, and depression in kids and teens.
Families
Families Ministry
Families are the building blocks of church and society. At Mountain Creek, we desire to honor families and come alongside them to follow Jesus together. We aim to provide helpful resources to build up our families in Christ.
Marriage Conference
We hosted our first marriage, Different By Design, in May 2019. Southeastern Seminary’s Dr. Larry Lyon and his wife Stephanie led the weekend. Audio and video of the conference sessions are be available.
Parent Commissioning and Child Dedication
Each Mother’s Day we commission parents to raise their children in the discipline and instruction of the Lord, and parents dedicate children to the Lord. Prior to this ceremony, participating parents attend at Parent Foundations class.
Resources
We love to point people to helpful family resources, such as books, articles, videos, and podcasts. And, when we are able, we try to give away good books for free. If you are looking for a helpful resource on a certain topic, feel free to ask one of our pastors, and they will either give you something or point you in the right direction.
