Matt Hall

Originally from West Virginia, Matt received his Bachelor’s degree from North Greenville University, where he majored in student ministry and graduated in May of 2016. Matt has lived in the Upstate since 2012.

Matt felt the call to ministry during his senior year of high school. After beginning college, he immediately started working in multiple student ministry opportunities. He served on camp staff for multiple summers, working as a camp counselor at the camp he grew up attending, eventually helping to organize the camp during his final year. He served on two summer missions teams to the state of West Virginia, partnering with churches from across the state to help with VBS, working with missions camps, and helping to meet other needs among the local believers there. During his undergraduate education, Matt volunteered in student ministry for four years. He also worked with the campus chaplaincy program, leading a bible study, ministering to students on campus, and helping organize Student-Led Renewal. After graduating, he stepped into a student ministry staff position, where he served for three years. Matt became the Pastor of College and Youth at Mountain Creek in August of 2019.

Matt met his wife Allie during their time at North Greenville. They were married in December 2016 and have a daughter, Selah (b. 2020).
