Praying for VBS
VBS starts today! While many will be serving in various roles this week, one incredibly important way that all of us can serve is by praying! Below is a short prayer guide to help you do just that:
Pray for the kids who know Jesus
- That they would grow in their knowledge of God’s love for them in Christ
- “I bow my knees before the Father … that you … may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.” (Ephesians 3:14–19)

- That they would see wonderful new things in God’s Word this week

- That they would take root and grow in Christ

Pray for the kids who don’t know Jesus
- That they would hear and believe the Scriptures
- “Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the Word of Christ.” (Romans 10:17)

- That they would understand what it means to turn from their sin and receive Christ

- That they would seek to know God through Jesus Christ

Pray for the workers
- That by their service, they would show the love of Christ

- That by their words, they would make clear the message of Christ

- That they would serve by the strength that God supplies and for the glory of God in Christ
