COVID-19 Update | March 17, 2020

Mountain Creek Family,

In light of the most recent recommendations from President Trump and our state government leaders, we will be cancelling all services and activities scheduled to be held at MCBC through March 31st. Over the next two weeks we will be evaluating the changing circumstances and will inform you of any updates to our status in a timely manner. This cancellation of events includes all worship services and Wednesday night activities, and any committee meetings, as well as any events scheduled to be hosted at MCBC during these dates. Below you will find our plan for what we will be doing during this break in our corporate gatherings, as well as answers to a few questions that may be asked.

Please know that we did not make this decision lightly. After last weekend, we had been working towards finding ways to meet in groups of less than 100 for worship and we were thinking through meeting options for our Life Groups. However, after the announcement by President Trump on Monday afternoon, March 16th, asking no one to meet in groups of 10 or more, as well as asking all older Americans to remain at home to prevent exposure to the virus, this is the decision that we believe to be the best next step at this time.

If you have any further questions, or if there is any way that we can serve you in these days, please do not hesitate to contact us.

We love you and are praying for you and our community,

Pastor Bert, Pastor Matt, & Pastor Rhett
