Critter Hunt | July 27 9:00-12:00

Wonder awaits just outside the back door. Every roly poly, every grasshopper, every worm hiding under a rock is something our Father thought up and made. He delights in critters, and so we want to go find some and see why. Join us Saturday July 27 as we look at the world God made and what it teaches us about Him. We’ll have stories, snacks, games, a short film screening, and an outdoor critter hunt. All your child needs is a jar for critters.

Children’s Ministry Training Lunch

If you volunteer in any capacity in our children’s ministry, please plan to attend the 2019-20 Children’s Ministry Training Lunch on August 11 immediately after the morning service. In addition to a refresher of our best practices, we will present some new and very important steps we are taking for child safety. If you cannot attend, please let Pastor Rhett know. Your families are welcome at the lunch; kids will go to the gym during the training program.

Please sign-up here so we know how much food to prepare.

Mountain Creek children’s ministries exist to partner with parents to make disciples of their children, establishing them in Christ and laying the foundation for their lives that is crucial to help them one day become disciple-makers themselves.

In addition to these core ministry components listed below, throughout the year our children serve both in our community and in our church. See our weekly bulletin, our monthly newsletter, this events page, or our Facebook page for current events in our children’s ministry.

All ages.
9:30AM on Sundays. (See the campus map for locations of classrooms.)

As you walk in our children’s hall at MCBC, you will be greeted by ministry workers who will be happy to help assist you as you check-in your child and show you to his or her classroom. After Sunday School, children under kindergarten age are allowed stay in those classrooms during the worship service. Children who are in K-5 and up will be escorted to the front row in the sanctuary with their classes, where they can be met by their parents for the worship service, with the option to attend Kids Worship during the sermon portion of the service.

Kids Worship

K5-4th Grade.
Dismisses from the 10:30AM worship service on Sundays.

Kids Worship provides an age-oriented Bible lesson from the same passage of Scripture preached in the regular worship service, as well as songs, Bible memory, and fun activities.

At the beginning of the sermon, our pastor will dismiss those going to Kids Worship. A map will be on the screen at the end of the service showing where you can pick up your children. Parents who did not check their children in for Sunday School can do so by filling out the yellow registration card found in the back of each pew.
