MC Kids

MC Kids wants to partner with parents in the discipleship of their children, establishing them in Christ and laying the foundations for a life lived to the glory of God. 

In addition to our weekly ministry opportunities listed below, we offer a number of other events throughout the year. Visit us on Facebook or Instagram for current events in our children’s ministry.

Child Safety

At Mountain Creek we take your child’s safety very seriously, and recognize the weighty responsibility of being entrusted with your child. We screen, train, and background check all of our MC Kids volunteers using the Ministry Safe system. We do not allow an adult volunteer to ever be alone with a child. We require use of our check-in system and security identification prior to releasing all children. 

Wellness Policy

Please join us in keeping the children of Mountain Creek healthy by following our wellness policy posted in our children’s wing. If a child appears ill upon arrival or during class time, for the best interest of all MCBC children, parents will be contacted to pick up their child. Prayerfully, these measures will protect your child from illness. We are grateful for your partnership in this area!

SUNDAY MORNING MOBILE CHECK-IN GUIDE

Sunday School

All ages.
9:30AM on Sundays. (See the campus map for locations of classrooms.)

As you walk in our children’s hall at MCBC, you will be greeted by ministry workers who will be happy to help assist you as you check-in your child and show you to his or her classroom. After Sunday School, children under kindergarten age are allowed stay in those classrooms during the worship service. Children who are in K-5 and up will be escorted to the front row in the sanctuary with their classes, where they can be met by their parents for the worship service, with the option to attend Kids Worship during the sermon portion of the service.

Kids Worship

Optional for K5-3rd Grade.
Dismisses from the 10:30AM worship service on Sundays.

Kids Worship provides an age-oriented Bible lesson from the same passage of Scripture preached in the regular worship service.

At the beginning of the sermon, our pastor will dismiss those going to Kids Worship. A map will be on the screen at the end of the service showing where you can pick up your children. Parents who did not check their children in for Sunday School can do so by filling out the Kids Worship registration card found in the back of each pew.

Children’s Choirs

Kids Choir (K5-5th Grade)
Meets at 5:45 each Wednesday during the school year

VBS

3-year-olds through 8th Grade.
6:00-8:30pm, Monday-Thursday, June 19-22, 2023

Special Needs

If your child has special needs, we have trained volunteers ready to serve your family. Please let us know at check-in how we can best serve your child’s needs, or feel free to email our Children’s Ministry Director for children to make arrangements ahead of time (Brooklyn White, brooklynwhite@mountaincreekbc.org )
